A six-part series created in collaboration with six diverse visionaries in their field - Olafur Eliasson, Neri Oxman, Ruth Carter, Cas Holman, Ian Spalter and Jonathan Hoefler - each episode features a musical score that is tailored to and inspired by the artist being profiled.

Winner of the IDA AWARD for Best Episodic Series, NETFLIX’s Abstract: The Art of Design (Season 2) features episodes by Oscar-winning director Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet From Stardom), Oscar winner Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi (Free Solo), Brian Oakes (Jim: The James Foley Story), Jason Zeldes (Ugly Delicious), Claudia Woloshin (The Mind of a Chef), and Scott Dadich (WIRED, Abstract: The Art of Design).

I was such a fan of Season One of Abstract, and the work that composer Mark Mothersbaugh did with the score. It was an honor to take the reins for Season Two. Brian Jones and I worked to create a unique palette for each featured designer, while still maintaining this aesthetic that is Abstract - one strongly influenced by the visual style of the show established by the creators Scott Dadich, Morgan Neville, and Dave O'Connor. The results were super satisfying, and we've heard positive words from many designers and fans around the globe about how this music has resonated with them. Without a doubt, Abstract is one of the more creatively fulfilling projects I've worked on.
